TVer — Minato: gates that frame other worlds

TVer runs the official streaming service of Japan’s commercial broadcasters. For its 2,249 m² head office in Minato, Tokyo, BANET kept TVer’s colours everywhere, gave each area its own theme and placed gates at the borders, so every opening frames a different world, as the service opens onto many programmes.

Concept

A view straight through

No tall buildings block the windows, so the zoning lets the eye run from the entrance across the work lounge to the glass. Spaces are divided by glass so the mood of each neighbour comes through.

Flat bars and a courtyard

Past security, each side has a different world of corridors, nooks and meeting rooms. One corridor is lined with flat bars in the corporate colour and ends in rush art dyed in the brand colour; across from it, glass shows the tsubo-niwa courtyard of the café.

Brand colour in many materials

Inside the work area, a lounge expresses the corporate colour in many materials. It sits at the centre, full of light, for everyday talk and for events that bring together people from inside and outside.
