Why WALL
Offices in Japan are rarely shown outside Japan. Yet many carry ideas — the engawa, the doma, the switch between focus and exchange, welfare built into the space — that readers elsewhere find worth knowing. Every article on WALL includes a short "Japanese context" note for that reason.
Who runs it
WALL is published by Lily Partners LLC (Tokyo), which also runs OFFICEMILL, the Japanese-language office portal. WALL was first planned in 2017 as a Japanese media; it returns in 2026 in English.
