Okamotoya — Minato: a booth with no desk and no chair

The booth merges space for working with space for not working, so people can change mode during working hours. Devices are not allowed inside.

Rather than a separate rest area, it sits within the normal office, to remove guilt and create a gradient between on and off. Separate entrance and exit doors mean nobody knows who went in or when.

Things for changing mode

An amenity bar next to the room offers aroma oil, a planetarium, hot eye masks, yoga mats, a balance ball, moxa, neck pillows and more, for use in the room or to ease health issues at work.

Supporting women at work

Fellne is Okamotoya’s brand, started in 2022, that helps small and medium companies support women’s careers, through training, health consultation and femtech.
