Sysmex Nagoya Branch — a hall with two 160-inch touch screens

Sysmex makes clinical-testing instruments and reagents. Its Nagoya branch spent over 20 years in a residential area away from the city centre. When the ageing building forced a move to a central office tower, the top asked the team to “think from zero”. With UCHIDA YOKO, the 787 m² branch was built on one word: “connect”.

Concept

A stage for sales

The branch wanted to change from visiting customers to welcoming them. A multi-purpose hall, centred on two 160-inch touch screens and designed around the view, is the stage for that.
