Fixed island desks had left some islands crowded and others empty, and meeting rooms were so scarce that some staff worked from home just to join online meetings.

UCHIDA YOKO proposed “an office where people connect with people and information and move towards the future”, chosen by the project team and a staff vote.

01 · Parks

Communication parks and hybrid rooms

In an open group-address work area there are two communication parks and two hybrid meeting rooms for any department or group size. Near the guest area are a coworking lounge and a library studio that connect with other sites and customers.

02 · Paperless

Screens everywhere

Monitors at every meeting spot sped up the move to paperless work, while shared paper documents such as specifications were consolidated.
