Sakura Jujji Group — Minato: a cross and a happy spiral

Tokyo Sakura Jujji works across medical care, nursing care and preventive medicine. For its combined move to a 920 m² office in Minato, KOKUYO and ambos used the group’s symbol, the cross, and its management philosophy, the “happy spiral”, as motifs repeated in different scales and materials.

Concept

Cross and spiral

The theme is continuity and circulation. The symbolic forms appear in layers across every area, giving the whole space rhythm and unity.

01 · Arrival

Digital art and an indigo lattice

At the entrance, digital art is projected in 3D onto a string curtain: a spiral of light that changes with time and particles that react to visitors. Beyond, a lounge with an indigo lattice ceiling and rich planting serves guests and staff.

02 · Work

A great ring of light

The work area has an open desk layout. Storage and high counters of different heights are carefully detailed, and a large circular light runs across the area as a symbol of co-creation and unity.
