Fonts now live far beyond paper, on screens and in AR and VR. Fontworks makes typefaces for each environment and develops technology for how customers use them.

The new office set four keywords: fusion of analogue and digital, fusion of creative and engineering, work while playing, and collaboration among employees.

01 · C desk

A desk shaped like a C, and a live link to Fukuoka

The work area has a desk shaped like the initial “C”, for Creative and Collaboration. A large display in the middle of the wall is always connected to the Creative Lab in Fukuoka, so the two sites can talk online.

02 · Rooms

Choose by mind-set

At the entrance, a stepped bench and display make room for casual talks with visitors while keeping operational security. Several meeting rooms range from a casual interior for free thinking to a chic, relaxing room, so people pick a place according to their mind-set.
