Concept
Talk, and concentrate
The design balances dialogue and concentration. The office is where a team meets face to face and decides quickly; thinking alone is treated as equally important.
So the floor mixes open places where people meet naturally with enclosed ones where nobody will interrupt.

01 · Reception
Characters at the door
The reception is unmistakably LINE Yahoo: the familiar characters, planting, and a calm dark finish behind them.
02 · Workspace
A street on the way to your desk
CONNECT STREET is a timber-toned coworking lounge set on the route to the work floor, with sofa seats and single desks, so that walking to your desk produces conversations. The work floor itself has dual displays, height-adjustable desks and chairs made for long days.

03 · Meetings
A hub, and a study room
CONNECT HUB takes groups from a few people to a seminar, with private rooms alongside. When the work needs quiet, the enclosed STUDY ROOM is where people go.

04 · Dining
A neon sign over the counter
The Dining / Cafe is a brick-toned counter, long shared tables, warm indirect light and a neon “Dining” sign — meals and breaks where the passing conversation is part of the point.

05 · Welfare
Leave you can save, and a sabbatical
Happy Friday turns a working day into special leave when a public holiday falls on a Saturday; up to 30 days of expiring annual leave can be banked for illness, childcare or nursing care; and staff with ten years’ service can take a two-to-three-month sabbatical. Health checks go beyond the legal minimum with re-examination costs covered up to ¥20,000 a year, and long-term income protection pays 60% of standard monthly pay to age 60.
06 · How they work
Three days in, full flex
The standard is at least three days a week in the office, combined with remote work. Flexitime has no core hours: meet the monthly total and you choose your own start and finish. Commuting is reimbursed up to ¥150,000 a month, and a Working Style allowance of ¥11,000 a month goes towards a good working environment. F leave gives a paid day a month for women’s health or fertility treatment, pregnancy support covers fertility treatment for any gender with up to ¥100,000 a year, same-sex partnerships are treated as marriage for leave and allowances, and normalisation leave gives up to six days a year for disability-related appointments.
