Koushin — Hatchobori: meeting rooms called RYOUAN and DAIMONJI, and figurines of the staff

Koushin, a company that helps clients plan and build their workplaces, gave its own Hatchobori head office a major renewal in September 2025. The result names its meeting rooms after Kyoto and keeps small figures of its employees on display.

Concept

An office company’s own office

Koushin’s business includes supporting other companies’ offices, so its own head office is also its showroom. After the 2025 renewal, the photo gallery walks from entrance and reception through a lounge and a café to meeting rooms, web booths and open tables.

Two names stand out. The meeting room is RYOUAN and the large meeting room is DAIMONJI — both names that any Japanese visitor will hear as Kyoto.
