KOKUYO n.5 — Shimokitazawa: a satellite between home and office

n.5 Shimokitazawa is a 120 m² multi-purpose satellite space that KOKUYO opened in Setagaya, Tokyo, in August 2022, towards its idea of “Life Based Working”. Staff use it freely for their own growth: as a satellite office, a gallery for personal projects, or a place to spend time with family.

Concept

Between

n.5 stands for the in-between: between the first place, home, and the second place, the office, and between people, the town and family. Feeling these gaps is meant to spark self-growth.
