JUMP CORPORATION — Minato: a spotlight at the entrance

JUMP CORPORATION makes television programmes. BANET designed its 420 m² office in Minato, Tokyo, around the idea of “an office that focuses on the business and the people”: clear zones for concentrated work and for talking, joined by a loop, and an entrance styled like a spotlight in the corporate colour.

Concept

Better than home

Much of the work is done alone. For people to want to come in, the office had to be at least as comfortable as working from home.

Zones are clearly separated, but a loop connects them so the whole feels like one place.

01 · Entrance

Each person in the spotlight

Hearings and workshops with all staff brought out each person’s character. The entrance takes the form of a spotlight to express a culture where people stimulate each other.
