Infotec — Shinjuku Park Tower: two floors, and a bar on one of them

Concept

An area built for the company next door

The most deliberate part of the plan is a co-creation area built to generate work with the group companies who share the building. A large monitor sits at its centre; study sessions and social evenings happen around it, and the company says both sides use it heavily.

Beside it sits an ABW area — half-enclosed booths, café-style sofa seats and sit-stand desks — so people can pick the setting that fits the task rather than the department they belong to.

The upper floor

The 22nd floor holds the entrance, where a large monitor greets visitors, and the development teams on free-address desks with generous space per seat.

02 · 11F · Corporate

The lower floor

Finance, HR and general affairs work on the 11th floor.

03 · Meeting rooms

Windows, and room to think

The meeting rooms sit against the tower’s tall windows.

04 · Counter bar and lockers

The practical end

A counter bar with a coffee machine and a fridge takes the social events, and lockers and a hanger room take the coats that a Tokyo winter brings.
