Concept
One shape, used everywhere
The company says it designs both receptions around its own symbol, and describes the result as a clean space with everything unnecessary taken out. The hexagon is lit from within the wall; there is almost nothing else in the room.
Behind reception the logic changes from symbol to work: seats are grouped by team and by role so that the people who talk most often sit nearest, and each meeting space is fitted out for the kind of meeting it usually holds.
01 · Entrance
Two receptions, one shape
Along the way in, framed work and posters line the wall, and the second studio repeats the hexagon in orange — on the wall, and again on the doors beyond it.
02 · Meeting rooms
Rooms sized for the meeting
Because so much of the work is discussed with clients, the studios keep eleven meeting spaces between them, from long rooms for a full team down to rooms for three or four.
03 · Work floor
Seats grouped by team
The work floors are laid out by zone rather than by department order, and the company says it keeps the machines and peripherals each team needs at the current specification.
04 · Relaxing
Games, a counter and a night view
The relaxing space is stocked with games, DVDs and manga, and the company is plain about why: imagination is the material. A circular sofa sits at its centre, and a counter runs along the window.
