An office with a view built in
GungHo puts the view to work. The entrance looks out over Tokyo Station; from the work floors you can pick out the city’s towers and bridges, and on a clear day Tokyo Bay and Mt Fuji.
The rest of the floor is built for making games in-house: a café with its own staff, an order-made soundproof room for the sound team, a studio for filming, and meeting rooms lined with whiteboard walls.

01 · Entrance
A sofa in the shape of the logo
Reception staff greet visitors at an entrance that looks out over Tokyo Station, with sofas designed in the shape of the company logo.

02 · GungHo Café
Coffee poured by café staff
The staff-only café has counter seats along the windows and a menu of freshly brewed coffee and seasonal drinks, served by the café team.

03 · Sound room & studio
Where the game sound is made
The sound room is an order-made soundproof space, and the company says the music of its games was born here. Next to it, a studio handles video recording and photography, and doubles as a meeting space.

04 · Meeting rooms
Whiteboard walls, and sound masking
Meeting rooms have whiteboards across a whole wall and a projector in each room, with a sound-masking system for privacy. The large meeting rooms hold more than 30 people each and can be joined together for all-hands mornings and briefings.

05 · Refresh room & massage
A blue sky on the ceiling, grass on the floor
The refresh room is where staff eat lunch and take breaks: a sky is painted across the ceiling, artificial turf covers the floor, and food and drink are on sale. The massage room, also staff-only, looks out on Tokyo Station; the company says its therapist is very popular.
