Concept
Boxes
The client wanted “places to hide away” and “not to have someone behind my back”. The designers lined up boxes across the floor and moved them around until the layout worked.
Each box has a theme and a role and is finished in a different colour or texture, including materials normally hidden, such as light-gauge steel, calcium-silicate board and plasterboard.

01 · Entrance
A see-through display
At the entrance is a transparent OLED display, described as the first used in an office in Japan. The picture is sharp, yet you can see through it.

02 · Gathering
Bar, darts and tiered seats
A kitchen with a bar counter, a darts machine and a free space with tiered seating for company-wide meetings give people reasons to come in. Building communication and culture is the main theme for a company that works remotely.
